Private Lessons


Walden Cross Country offers private ski lessons for children and adults. These lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate or even advanced skiers who want to improve their technique. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to skate as well.

FEES (Payable to Walden Cross Country):

Individual: $35 (1 hour session) 
Groups of 2: $25 each (1 hour session)
3 or more: $20 each (1 hour session)

DATES: Please arrange lessons directly with the instructor of your choosing, listed below (in no particular order…they’re all awesome). Payment can be made with chalet staff prior to your lesson.




Mani Cuza  |

Mani Cuza is a grade 12 student at Sudbury Secondary School.  She has been skiing since the age of four and has raced at both the 2016 and 2017 OFSAA cross country skiing events. She completed every ski program at Walden and has trained with her school. She prefers to skate ski but also likes to classic ski every once and awhile with family.

Availability: Saturdays & Sundays



Allison Caswell |

Allison started skiing at the age of 14 with the Lo-Ellen Park Ski Team and joined the Walden Race Team when she was 15. She has four years of race experience at the high school level and three years at the club level. She is currently in her first year at the University of Guelph and will be racing as a Gryphon this season. She has previous teaching experience at the Jackrabbit level, where she has been coaching for the past two seasons.

Konrad Wiltmann |

From doing loops in my backyard as a kid, to competing at nationals, skiing has always been about the enjoyment for Konrad. Whether you have never skied before or are looking for that extra edge to win a race this year, he welcomes the challenge of helping you achieve that goal. He promises you a positive environment and hopefully a laugh or two as well. “Please hire me as your instructor! I am quite happy to teach the wee ones or grandpa and grandma too! See you on the trails!”
